I started going to yoga classes when I was just 16, tagging along with my Mum who had been going for years. Yoga stayed with me throughout my adolescence, and I always found a class wherever I was, whether at University, on holiday or when I moved away from home.
When I settled in Kent, I found an amazing teacher, Rebecca Papa-Adams, who was teaching at my local gym, and I was hooked, I went to yoga several times a week, practiced at home and started becoming interested in the non physical side of yoga.
I began my 500 hour teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2015 and studied and taught throughout two pregnancies. Seeing the amazing physical and mental effects of yoga whilst being pregnant encouraged me to begin pregnancy teacher training in 2019, with classes starting the same year.
Yoga provides a lot of different things for different people, but for me it has been present for most of my adult life keeping me grounded and calm. Im not sure what I would do without it!
I'd love for you to join me at one of my classes, whatever stage you are at, to see if yoga works for you.
